LOLITA TERRORIST SOUNDS
Lolita Terrorist Sounds is the stage name of Italian-born musician Maurizio Vitale, and very often includes special guests and collaborators. He is the founding leader of the Berlin-based avant-garde band (Lolita Terrorist Sounds) and he is active in a number of artistic fields as drummer, music producer, multi-instrumentalist musician, performer, singer and movie actor.
His talent was at the service of the legendary Sabar percussionist Doudou N’ diaye Rose (SN), and he has played with German singer Andrea Schroeder in the studio and live. His past and present collaborations include work with members of acclaimed bands such as Einstürzende Neubauten, Swans, Iggy Pop, Thåström, and Faust.
In support of the release “Shaved Girl” the band opened for the Swedish artist Anna von Hausswolff and played an acoustic show on the German Radio Eins.
